My favorite is the construction worker that falls off a building because his safety harness is broken, and his faulty acetylene torch explodes.

I'm a giver. I remember how suprised I was by this the 1st time I saw it, and how most people would freak when they see it.

You know something's broken in your brain when ...

... all the other goths think it's terrible
... and you laugh.

I laughed, too.

I'm really not sure what this says about us.

I wonder if a country that supports a socialized medicine health care system benefits from commercials such as these. Certainly, in the United States, our government uses fear tactics (often as laughable as these) to support their policies or ideals.

thuggins already showed me this. Kinda made my tummy hurt, but then again I've worked in kitchens and seen some pretty horrible burns, cuts, general dumbass moments. Nothing like that though. Though at one of the places I worked I was cleaning the fryer one night and got to chatting with my young sidekick and he told me about a guy who had worked there previously and forgot to turn the fryer off when he was cleaning it. Went to unclog it cause it wasn't draining, used a coat hanger, which was still hanging around when I got there. Anyway his hands slipped down the coat hanger and went into the still 400 degree oil. When he pulled them out all his skin up to mid forearm just slid off in one sheet, on both sides. Apprently he just took some pain meds, put on gloves and tried to go back to work. They made him go to the hospital. What the hell. Who does that?
