5 years? Phooey.

When I had my 5 year anniversary as an Employee at Expedia, I received a $200 coupon toward travel booked on

Today, I entered the Expedia 10th Anniversary Sweepstakes. I'm not an employee anymore, so I'm eligible to win. I think it would be funny if I did after never winning any of the door prizes at the increasingly infrequent company meetings. Anyway, for giving them my email address, Expedia sent me a $100 coupon.

That's right. Five years of employment is equal to two email addresses.

Update! While writing this entry, they sent me another coupon for $100. Five years of employment is equal to one email address.

I don't plan to delete my LJ (I paid for permanent status, dammit), but this will be the last post. I don't plan to read it anymore, either…

  • Unemployed

Turns out my insurance is cut off at midnight tonight, not the end of the month. In a way, that's a good thing. Now I'll move my appointment…

  • Home from the cruise, off to Sunnyvale

A week off, but tomorrow I head to the home office for a week there.
