So now that I have the disk space hold all my CDs, I've been ripping them all to my computer. I have a fair amount of self-released and independent CDs from local bands. One of them was a an a capella trio call Lotus that played in Moscow in the early 1990s. Sadly, they went their separate ways after making only one CD. I played this CD to death. I did a search for one of them though, Sherrie Lutsch. She's now playing western Washington as a member of another a capella trio, Mockingbird. So I'm listening to the samples of one of their albums on cdbaby, and it's very similar to a Lotus song, in that the lyrics for both come from Kahlil Gibran 's On Children. Deeper voices, but I don't like it as much. Not as rich.
