Tattoo

So I've never gotten a piercing or body mod in any way shape or form until now. But I have the design for a tattoo, and in large enough form (all I had was a small icon before) that someone can do something with it. Now, I need to decide where to go.

Who's good and who should I avoid? Money's not an object, but hassle factor is. I'm not gonna schedule this 3 months in advance or deal with someone who cancels appointments.

Avoid Benjamin Moss @ Apocalypse Tattoo; while he's awesome, he's super busy, cancels appointments, and would be a big ole hassle.

I'm sure Darren will suggest Victor P @ Apocalyspe; he did his arm and back of his neck.

BTW, what kind of design is it? Tribal? Realisistic? Popeye? Pinup girl with huge knockers that bounce when you flex your arm?

I love Holly at Minds Eye Tattoo in the U Dist.

She did my Dragon and will soon be doing the Phoenix I want to go along with it.

good is your personal opinion

just look around and ask ppl who have art that you deem good enough to ask about
take note
then go look at the artist's samples...

:D

Make an appointment with Benjamin, show him the design and ask who would be best. He's really good at knowing who does what styles best.

Victor is a great person, everyone I know who has his work have been very happy. They are the only two I've heard nothing but positive remarks.

I went to Van at the Slave to the Needle in Ballard and he did my siren. He was wonderful and even added some creativity to it.

I must also chime in to recommend Benjamin, although the hassle factor is definitely there. I hear good things about Dag at Laughing Buddah, but I've never been to him.
