No company Christmas party this year

In lieu of a company holiday party in the busy month of December, we will be having a company party the evening of Saturday, March 5, 2005 at EMP in Seattle. The schedule change was made as an attempt to ease employees’ hectic holiday schedules and allow more time for family events. The party will be similar to the holiday parties of the past in that it will be a “dressier” evening event in which everyone can bring a significant other or friend, have dinner & drinks, dance along with a live band and many more fun activities. More details will be available in the coming months.

Dear IACT Events,

Cancelling the company Christmas party is bad enough for morale. Telling us it's being done for our benefit is just stupid.

I don't plan to delete my LJ (I paid for permanent status, dammit), but this will be the last post. I don't plan to read it anymore, either…

  • Unemployed

Turns out my insurance is cut off at midnight tonight, not the end of the month. In a way, that's a good thing. Now I'll move my appointment…

  • Home from the cruise, off to Sunnyvale

A week off, but tomorrow I head to the home office for a week there.
