Jason and I went to the gym yesterday. Twice. Of course, we didn't actually enter the facility. No, the first time we got there we realized we didn't have a lock. So we went back to get one. Second time, I left my wallet with my membership card at home. So we turned around again.
Today, I was to call Jason when I got off work. I called twice. No answer. This will come as quite the shock to most readers, but Jason was napping. He did call me back around 8:30 p.m. though. Off to the gym at 9 p.m. 15 minutes on the elliptical trainer. I actually broke a sweat. Although not difficult to instigate, perspiration was way beyond my goals for the evening. Jason wanted to lift weights after that, but I have had a headache periodically today, and all that blood seemed to restart the ache. No weights for me.
The point right now is just to make it a habit to go. Not really worried about losing weight or firming my abs or anything like that. If it becomes a habit to enter the building with all the Precor machines, then this phase has been successful. Only later am I worried about actually improving my health.
