NEW YORK: The lights illuminating the billboards along Broadway will be dimmed for a few seconds today in the acting industry's ultimate mark of respect for Katharine Hepburn.
Hepburn, who died on Monday at her home in Old Saybrook, along Long Island Sound in Connecticut, was mourned across the nation yesterday. Flags in the town flew at half-mast while across the other side of the country in Hollywood, fans gathered at Hepburn's star at the Walk of Fame to lay flowers and light candles.
Ultimate mark of respect? Someone revoke that person's writing license.
