Okay, here's the moral of the movie: Don't treat God as a candy machine, putting a quarter in and getting your gum-ball out. Good, now that we have that out of the way, the movie is funny. Jim Carrey is one of the few comedians who can actually get me to laugh out loud. Although a few of his comic movies have fallen short in that department. But he's back in form for this one. The previews all show the scene where Bruce makes a TV anchor speak gibberish. I knew it was coming, which usually ruins the joke for me. Not this time. I still busted a gut.
Summary: plot/story predictable, moral overbearing, humor excellent.
