I purchased software and a cable so I could put new ring tones on my Motorola phone. The Motorola advertised that the software could do this. However, the option appears to be disabled. I don't feel like dealing with their support lines today to figure this out.

Second, I doubt I will make it to Confessional tonight. I won't be done with mentoring (a trip to the KUBE Haunted House) until nearly 10. Additionally, I set my alarm for 5:30 a.m. so that I can get to work on time. While I would love to molest oracle2c wearing a daring outfit (and any other willing women), I don't feel particularly keen on working with less than 8 hours of sleep. Maybe if I was working a short shift tomorrow.

Third, I'll be helping the Community For Youth Program Manager for Chief Sealth High School interview prospective students for this year's Steps Ahead program on Monday.

Fourth, I need to clean the fish tank, but I keep putting it off.

Fifth, apple picking and pie on Sunday. Jazzed.

Sixth, speaking of pie, I will be holding another Pie Night shortly. Likely will be the afternoon and evening of November 11th, but I am waiting for when my mentor group determines when we will be having a Thanksgiving dinner first. Venue will be either Jason's place or my place (Jason's if his landlord doesn't object).

Motorola phone support

Well, I did brave Motorola phone support. Turns out that, despite what the web site says, I cannot transfer ring tones with this software, at least with Verizon. Customer support wasn't able to help me, but they did put me in contact with the returns department. The first line returns person told me I was S.O.L. because I purchased it from another company, and I needed to contact that company. But that company makes customers responsible for shipping the product back and doesn't refund the shipping & handling fee either. When I pointed this out to the returns person, she kind of was stuck, but she transferred me to a supervisor. For the third time, I had to walk someone through what the Motorola web site says. However, this guy was able to help me. I still can't transfer the ring tones without hacking the software, but he's issuing me a prepaid label to ship it back to the company I did purchase it from. Also, he's in Costa Rica and his last name is Diaz. That came up because he mentioned that Weiss wasn't a common last name (he'd never heard it). I pointed out that it's the 643rd most common last name according to How Many Of Me. And his last name is 98th most common. Anyway, he (and his coworkers) have a new toy while they answer phones.

KUBE 93 Haunted House

Went to the KUBE Haunted House tonight. Not really a haunted house, more like a haunted maze. Some of the students were really frightened. I might have been, but I was at the tail end of our group, and it's pretty hard to be surprised/frightened when someone in a mask jumps out at someone 4 people in front of you. It had a lot fo strobe lights though, and that was disorienting. So was the spinning tube of light.

Also, a local rapper, Gameboy was out front selling his pre-album. For $5, I now own my first rap album.
