King Rat

One the one hand, ripping all my CDs to my PC has reminded me of the many bands I love that I haven't listened to recently. On the other hand, I also have a few CDs that I can't remember why I bought them and I think the songs on them are awful listening to them now. In at least one case, I bought two CDs. Why did I buy the Afghan Whigs? I must have heard something I liked at one point. But Black Love and 1965 are both devoid of anything I enjoy. I don't like the songs and I really don't like the lead singer's voice. He has no range and it sounds like he needs to drink a glass of water.

Dammit.  I've been ripping my CDs in MP3 at 128 kbps since early Friday morning.  I've been meaning to rip in WMA, which has better quality at the given rate.   That's a lot of albums.  Well, I'm not going to go back and re-do them unless the sound quality annoys me later.  Just too many albums done like that.
