Basic Instinct 3: Pie Night™

My internet outage delayed this. I hereby officially announce the next Pie Night.

WHAT: Pie Night is an event all about pie. Most any kind of pie will do. Savory pie. Sweet pie. Even a tart or two. I will make up a bunch of pie. Participants eat pie. No cake. No cookies. No pasta.

WHEN: Sunday, April 9th, 2 p.m. until we're done.

WHERE: Jason and his roommates have graciously agreed to host this event again. The address is 14540 Wallingford Ave N, Shoreline, WA.

WHO: Anyone is welcome to come, provided you respond here so I can get a count. You don't have to like me. You don't have to know me. All you have to do is like to eat pie. As long as people are eating the pie and not throwing the pie, I'll be happy. Kids are okay, but no special accommodations are made for them. Including language or discussion topics. You may not want your children to hear what people do with pie. And any children you bring are your responsibility and at your risk.

WHY: Pie. 'Nuff said.

THE RULES: As I noted above, pie only. I am the ultimate arbiter of what constitutes pie. If you are in doubt, ask before bringing something else. Also, home made pies only. You can buy the crust if you want. Or even the filling. But stopping by Safeway to pick up a pie is not allowed. Feel free to bring beverages, utensils, ice cream, whipped cream, or other adjuncts to eating pie.

At the last Pie Night™ I made a pear pie with ginger. I will be attempting something else like that again because that was probably the best pie I've ever made.
