My personal laptop appears to have kicked the bucked. It gets about 5 seconds into boot up and then shuts itself off.

I've been reading the same book for 4 weeks and am only at page 260. I love China Miéville, but he's slow reading. I'll lose my one reader over at my book blog for lack of updates.
