Unsettled

Between some work things and some undefined other I am very unsettled today. Right now I'd love to bail and do some shopping therapy. But I have another meeting at 4 p.m. so I can't. In any case, I may still go shopping immediately after this meeting. I feel like buying a new computer. A fast one with a nice graphics card. I have two personal computers at home. One from 1999 that is perfectly serviceable but can't run games decently due to old hardware. I also have a second, a cheapo laptop with a crappy Celeron in it. I'm not sure what I did to it but it bogs down quickly running most software. A re-install would probably cure it. Nevertheless, it's even worse for even basic games. I do most stuff on my work laptop actually.

So I'm thinking multimedia type PC.

And then I'd have to pull stuff off my current computers and get it on the new one. That's at least a month of work.

But I am adamant that I will not resort to my standby shopping therapy. I will not purchase any books to pile on my already tottering to-read list.
