February 2005 I.E.E.E. Computer

Frogpad: A new toy for myself? Checked out the web site and I may do it, but they have two USB products between which I can't tell the difference. Except the price: One is $170. The other is $100.

Second item is a book: Forensic Discovery: The Definitive Guide to Computer Forensics. It's an Addison-Wesley Professional book, one of my most trusted computer publishers.

Third is I should probably check out I.E.E.E. Computer Society Online Bookshelf again to see if there's anything interesting there lately. Also, the C.S.D.P. program and Distance Learning.

I fell asleep last night around 6:30 or 7. Woke up around 5:15 this morning. Read my paper, showered, and did all the normal morning stuff and it was still only 6:30. So I decided to take the bus in to work. Plan is I take the bus downtown after work and hit up Poul's show at the Fenix (which I still haven't been to since their re-opening) and the Prudential.

Not so confidential to Poul: I spammed our internal mailing lists with your announcement for the show. Hopefully you'll get some traffic from that.
