One of the best benefits of vacation is that my sleep cycle goes back to something regular. Fall asleep between 10 and 11, wake up between 6:30 and 7:30. Last night I looked at the clock while reading Stranger Things Happen and then thought,
I'm tired. So I turned off the light and promptly went to sleep. The thing was to me, I didn't feel particularly tired. Just a little bit. At home with all the stress and socializing and running around, that point would not have been so clear to me. I would have stayed up longer.
Maybe I need to set an alarm to tell me to get to bed. Not that I don't know. But just as a reminder that it's important.
