One of the things that really chaps my hide about the way words are bandied about is the use of the word terrorism. For instance, the A.L.F. released a large number of mink from a farm in Sultan. Quoting the article:

Volunteers armed with snares, fishing nets and sometimes bare hands combed the woods yesterday for thousands of ill-tempered mink on the loose after what industry representatives are calling one of the largest ecoterrorist acts of its kind in the country.

Puh-lease! This is not terrorism. Criminal, yes. Terrorism, no. I wish people would stop trying to put whatever they feel like onto the terrorism bandwagon. I also blame the news media as well. Neither seems to have a sense of proportion.
