Elevator hypocrisy

We have three elevators in the building at my office. There are two elevator buttons. One calls two of the elevators. The other calls the "service" elevator. Frequently, people press both buttons then hop on the first of the two elevators that will stop on the floor. The other elevator arrives and no one gets on.

When riding the elevators, it is quite common for the elevator to stop, the door to open, and no one to be around.

Yesterday, when leaving work this happened. One woman in the elevator turned to another and commented, "I hate that! It's all the impatient people who press both buttons!"

I'll leave the hypocrisy as an exercise for the reader.
