Benefits of the Eastlake neighborhood

I was reading a travel guide thing to Seattle, and they noted the tendency for Starbucks to be located 5 to a block in this city. Then it hit me. My neighborhood has no Starbucks. Nor does it have a Seattle's Best Coffee or a Tully's. That's right there are no locations of the three large Seattle based chains in my neighborhood. And there aren't any outlets for other coffee chains either. There is Hines Public Market Coffee, which roasts it's own beans, a latte stand in front of the 14 Carrot Cafe, and Louisa's bakery also sells espresso. But we are corporate coffee free.

So come visit me and hang out!

I don't plan to delete my LJ (I paid for permanent status, dammit), but this will be the last post. I don't plan to read it anymore, either…

  • Unemployed

Turns out my insurance is cut off at midnight tonight, not the end of the month. In a way, that's a good thing. Now I'll move my appointment…

  • Home from the cruise, off to Sunnyvale

A week off, but tomorrow I head to the home office for a week there.
