Long ass

I got to work today at 12:30 p.m. and I still ended up working 9 hours. That doesn't count the hour I spent working from home this morning either. Right about 5 o'clock, I got 9 new features (mostly minor) dumped on my plate. We need seven of them done by Wednesday night to make it into the next build. Because of a family dinner tomorrow, and an appointment on Wednesday, I won't be able to work late either day. So I gamely plowed my way through them tonight. I got seven of them done, including one of the two that don't need to be done by Wednesday night (it was a simple change). The most difficult one is my plan for tomorrow.

Did I mention that I am pretty good at what I do? My employer should thank their lucky stars I work for them. Otherwise these wouldn't get done.
