10 a.m. meetings

Why do people at my office schedule meetings at 10 a.m.? I have a history of missing meetings anyway. I hate them. Absolutely useless stuff, meetings are. Especially large "review" meetings. Personally, I think a lot more constructive review can happen in one on one or small group meetings.

Obviously, the reason why I am whining is that I have a 10 o'clock meeting scheduled for this morning. I don't want to go. I want to work from home today. So I am debating on whether or not to make it to this meeting. I probably will get there for the meeting, be thoroughly unsatisfied, then come home and get some real work done through the wonders of DSL and VPN.

I don't plan to delete my LJ (I paid for permanent status, dammit), but this will be the last post. I don't plan to read it anymore, either…

  • Unemployed

Turns out my insurance is cut off at midnight tonight, not the end of the month. In a way, that's a good thing. Now I'll move my appointment…

  • Home from the cruise, off to Sunnyvale

A week off, but tomorrow I head to the home office for a week there.
