My boss and her husband paid a small fortune to take their ummmm...9(?) year old son to one of these clinics. She never told me how much it cost, but made it clear that it was notable for this two family house hold. I also know that they both took the better part of a week off to go with Jeffrey to the classes or workshops or whatever they want to call them.

When the kid got back to school, his school work improved for about a week before he dropped back down to the level he had been working before in everything but reading. His reading skills seemed to digress.

I have no idea the details of all of this, because of course, my boss and her husband are embarrassed that they paid a gazillion dollars and their son "failed" (her words, not mine). I suspect, from her language that the whole thing has put more pressure and misery on this little boy who is already doomed to live with an over-bearing controling mother - who is now greatly disappointed in him.

So...not really much input other than I know one family that did this, and it did not go well.
